Connection Details

You can create joints and add joint components between building components. The joint component data is also collected in the material report.

Select a joint component from the component library by using the Vertex Browser. The browser opens when you select Beams, Columns > Connection Details. The folders and joints in the library and the application development program determining how the joint is formed are customer-specific. Basic joints are:

Select the joint properties and the joint component in a dialog box. The program prompts you to select the building parts between which the joint is to be formed.
