Add a Panel Break Line
You can create panel breaks to the basic layer of the structure,
i.e., the structural layer with serial number 0, or to the selected
structural layer.
- Select Panels > Add Panel
Break Line to Area.
- Select the method of selecting a structural layer.

- Select the horizontal structure.
- If you want to add a seam between the panels, type the seam
width by using the Seam Width function on the
contextual toolbar.
- If necessary, you can select individual details on both sides
of the seam. When you add a panel break, symbols on both sides of
the panel break indicate which detail is used. Select the details
using the functions on the contextual toolbar.
- You can add panel breaks either individually or several at a
time to the whole area. Panel breaks added in this way divide the
area into fields into which you can also add panel breaks. Select
an adding method from the contextual toolbar. If necessary, switch
on Full cut/picked cut.
- Click a location for the panel break, or a point from which the
division is started.
- Quit by pressing the Esc key.
Note
- You can move individual panel breaks by dragging from the grip
point. You an move several selected panel breaks by using the
Move function in the context-sensitive menu. You can delete
selected panel breaks by using the Delete function in the
context-sensitive menu or by pressing the Delete key.
- When you have added the panel breaks, create the panels by
selecting Add Panel to Area.
- Alternatively, you can select the function from the
context-sensitive menu:
- Select the horizontal structure.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
- Select Panelization > Add Panel
Break Line to Area.
- You can create a panel of an area with a complex shape without
panel breaks by selecting Building a Panel
From Selected Planes.
