Build a Plane Panel

You can use this function to build a floor or roof panel by selecting the structures belonging to it. You can use the function for example when creating a panel of an area with a complex shape.

1. Select Panels > Plane Panels > Build Panel.
2. Select the structures.
3. Select Confirm.
4. If necessary, move the origin of the panel's local coordinate system or the label.
   1. Select the symbol to be moved.
   2. If necessary, rotate the symbol as follows:
      1. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
      2. Select one of the following:
         • Vertical
         • Horizontal
         • Default (the rising direction in an inclined plane)
         • Select direction
           1. Select the start point of the direction line.
           2. Select the end point of the direction line.
   3. Select a new location for the symbol.
5. Select Confirm. The Edit Panel dialog box opens.
6. Select the how to number the panels in a dialog box.
   • Numbering - Enter the panel label prefix and number in the text fields.
   • Use - Select the intended use for the panel from the list.
7. Confirm by clicking OK.
8. Quit by pressing the Esc key.

Note

• Before selecting a location for the symbol, you can rotate it to a horizontal or vertical position also by using the cursor keys Arrow right or Arrow left.
