Edit Supports

This function can be used to edit the selections of the support structures of trusses. You can select the support structures like when adding a truss area.

1. Select Trusses > Edit Supports.
2. Select the truss area by clicking one of the trusses in the area.
3. Edit the selections by selecting a selected structure, in which case the selection is removed, or by selecting new structures.
4. Select Confirm.
5. Update the supports by selecting Update in a message box.

Note

• This function cannot be used to edit a support that has been created by adding a support symbol to a truss.
• Other options for editing a truss area:
  • Edit a Truss Area - editing involves the exact same steps as adding a truss area.
  • Update Truss Shapes - you can reselect trusses' upper and lower structures. In addition, you can define the distance between the top or bottom chord of the truss and the limiting structure.
  • Generate Trusses - you can reselect truss parameters.
