Background Types

The background can be a plain color, graduated color, cloud or an image (photo).

Images

If you wish to set an image file as the background, select one of the following background types:

• Scaled image - Select the type, when you wish to use your own photo as a background, see User's Own Photo to the Background Library. The image is scaled to fill the whole background.
• Image - Depending on the size, the image can appear in the background several times.
• Backfoto - A photograph on which a model can be positioned using pairs of points. See Position a Model on a Background Photo.
• Scbackfoto - A photograph on which a model can be positioned using pairs of points. You can move and scale the photo relative to the model after the model has been positioned. See Position a Model on a Scalable Background Photo.

Type the path of the image file as the value of the File name property:

1. Set one of the following as the image file:
   • If the image file has been saved in the ../shared/lw folder, type the plain file name with quotation marks in the field, for example:

     "imagefile.jpg"

   • If the image file has been saved in a subfolder under the ../shared/lw folder, type folder/file name with quotation marks in the field, for example:

     "folder/imagefile.jpg"

   • If the saving location of the image file is something else, type the entire path with quotations in the field, for example:

     "D:/custom_backgrounds/photographs/imagefile.jpg"

2. Click the Set button.

• Graduated - Vertical transition from one color to another.
