Position a Model on a Scalable Background Photo
A scalable background photo (type Sbackfoto) makes it easier to
position the model relative to the background photo, because you
can still move and scale the photo relative to the model after the
model has been positioned. Add the scalable background photo to the
model before positioning the model in the photo. Position the model
using the Fly function. Because the background photo is also
visible in the OpenGL shading mode, you can position the model
using this mode.
The points determining the position cannot be clicked in a
perspective projection. Make sure, that Projection >
Perspective View is not selected before you position the model
with the Fly function.
- Select Rendering > Set
Background.
- Open the System/Backgrounds/Misc/Scaled Background
Photos folder in the browser.
- Double-click the thumbnail.
- Select Projection > Fly from the menu bar.
- Position the model in the same way as on a normal background
photo.
