Editing the Drafting Properties of an Element Type

Defines the default values for the drafting properties of an element type.

Dialog Box Options

Select an element type.

Depending on the element type, you can edit the following properties:

• Layer

• Font

• Height

• Line Width

• Character Width

• Angle

• Color

• Slant

• Character Spacing

• Line Spacing

• Scale

• Covering Text

You can define an additional property for shape lines that allows or prevents the lines from being drawn thicker on the screen. The value defines a line width, and the lines wider than the value will be drawn two pixels wider in the working window.

The lines are drawn two pixels wider on the screen if the line width is greater or equal to the value defined under the thicklinelim keyword in the DRAFT keyword group.
