Text Style

You can choose one of the following as the text style from the Text Style list.

• Normal
• Italic
• Underline
• Cyrillic
• Covering

You can deselect a text style by choosing Normal.

Vertex G4: The text styles described here are available for texts and the numerical values of dimensions. Choose the style of the dimension itself from the Dimension Style list.

Style Covering

The Covering style has an effect in hatched areas. Covering text and dimension values will cover the hatch and shape lines.

You can set the covering (hiding) property of text/dimension value as follows:

1. Add text or a dimension value to a hatched area with the Covering style selected.
2. Do either of the following:
   • Select Hidden Lines from the contextual toolbar.
   • Press Ctrl+H.

As an example, after the removal of hidden lines, text and dimension values added using the Covering style are displayed on a hatched area as follows:

• If you add a text or a dimension value using the Covering style, the Hiding property is selected.

• If you select Hiding and Boxed as text properties, the framed area determines the size of the covering (hiding) area.
• You can modify the size of the text and dimension value covering (hiding) the area and the size of the framing (box) with a keyword.
