You can change the size of the covering area (hiding), the framing size (box) of text and dimension values added using the Covering style.
Vertex G4: The dimension styles are the same as the Text Styles.
The Covering style has an effect in hatched areas. Covering text and dimension values will cover the hatch and shape lines.
Vertex G4: As a default, the size of the covering (hiding) area is larger for a dimension value than for text. See the image for a comparison.
You can change the size of the covering area (hiding) and the box. It can be defined with a keyword in the draft keyword group.
If you increase the keyword values, the sizes of the covering area (hiding) and box become larger.
If Hiding and Boxed are selected for a text in the text properties, the framing (box) area determines the size of the covering (hiding) area.
If you wish the dimension value to be surrounded by smaller framing (box), decrease the values. If you wish the framing (box) to be very small, the minimum possible value is -0.1.
