Adding Insulation Into Limited Area

You can use this function to add an insulation layer to a horizontal structure with a framing, or to a floor or roof panel. The insulation is added between joists on a limited area of the horizontal structure or panel.

1. Select Floor Joists, Roof Rafters > Insulation > Add Insulation to Limited Area.
2. Select the method of selecting structural layer from the contextual toolbar.

3. Click the area or areas.
4. Select Confirm.
5. Select the insulation properties in the Wool Data dialog box.

6. Select the corner points of the area to which insulation is to be added.
7. Select Confirm.

The insulation layer is added to the framing model FRAMING.vxm.
