Select the properties of the insulation layer to be added between the joists in the Wool Data dialog box.

Structure, Layer

The program reads the data of the structural layer from the area you have selected. The thickness of the layer is displayed in the text field.

Insulation code

You can add one or more insulation layers to the structure. Select the insulation layers in the text fields in the same order in which you want to add them to the structure: the insulation layer in the top text field will be the uppermost layer in the structure, etc. If the thickness of the insulation layer (or the total thickness of several insulation layers) is different from the thickness of the structural layer, select the way you want to position the insulation layer in relation to the structural layer:

• Locate by top side - The top surface of the structural layer is the top surface of the uppermost insulation layer.

  

• Locate by bottom side - The bottom surface of the structural layer is the bottom surface of the lowest insulation layer.

  

Select the material code of the insulation by clicking the arrow button of the field. Select the material code from a list. The field Thickness is refreshed automatically according to the selected material code.
