Add a Panel Macro
You can add parametric macros to the project's floor plan
drawing, such as extra studs, beam pockets and electrical symbols.
The wall panel macros are added on their own layers. They will be
displayed on the drawing when the layers are visible.
Add the parametric macros to the floor plan drawing before
generating the panel breaks.
- Do either of the following:
- Select Wall Panels > Wall
Panel Macros when using wall panels based on a template.
- Select Classic Wall Panels >
Wall Panel Macros when using wall panels based on a panel
drawing.
- Select the macro to be added from the list.
- If necessary, select the macro parameters.

- Select a wall. The cursor will be locked to be parallel to the
wall.
- If necessary, change the locating point of the macro, or select
another auxiliary function. The default locating point of the macro
is the center point of the group.

- Select a location for the macro.
Note
- You can relocate the panel macro by dragging the grip point
before generating the panel breaks.
