Open a Truss Drawing

You can open a truss drawing to a separate drawing window either by selecting a truss in the floor plan, or by double-clicking a truss label in the project document browser. A truss drawing is generated for the first time by using the Add Truss Labels and Generate Drawings function.

Open a Truss Drawing by Selecting a Truss in the Floor Plan

1. Select one or more trusses with a label.
2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
3. Select Open Panel Drawing.

   If you open a drawing of a truss which has been edited, you can update the drawing by selecting Update in a message box. You can recognize an edited truss from the asterisk (*) at the end of the truss label in the layout drawing.

Open a Truss Drawing from the Project Document Browser

1. Open the branch Structural drawings / Trusses.
2. Double-click a truss label.

Note

• The truss projection in the truss drawing is a part enlargement. You can show or hide the limits of the part enlargement area by using the function View > Detail View Limits.
• You can also open a truss drawing by using the Trusses > Open Truss Drawings function.
