Define a Wall Line

When a wall frame is formed of individually added columns and beams, you can define a wall line and create a panel drawing of it. Add the wall and the frame parts, and add the parts to the wall before defining the wall line. You can define the wall line and create the panel drawing as follows:

  1. Select Panels > Frames > Define Wall Line.
  2. Select the walls.
  3. Select Confirm.
  4. Select a location for the wall line label.
  5. Select the structures to be connected to the wall line from the list. You can select the structures you defined when adding parts to the wall, see Adding and Removing Wall Members.
  6. Select a template drawing in the dialog box. The suitable template drawings are highlighted in blue in the dialog box. One of the suitable template drawings is selected by default.

  7. Confirm by clicking OK.

The program will generate the panel drawings. You can edit the panel using the floor and roof panel design functions. The panel drawing properties are similar to those of the floor panel drawing. For more information on panel drawing properties, see Generating a Panel Drawing.
