Editing the layer thickness
You can edit the thickness of the structural layers of a
horizontal plane. You can select a single structural layer for
editing, after you have selected a detailed representation as the
method of 3D representation of the structure with the Expanding layers function.
- Select Floors and Ceilings > Advanced
> Edit Thickness of Layer.
- Select the structural layer selection mode from the contextual
toolbar.
Selecting structural layer
- Select editing method from the contextual toolbar. Select
either the bottom or top surface of the structural layers to be
locked into its location. Set the thickness as fixed or variable.
- Select the structural layer to be edited.
- Edit the thickness according to the selected editing
method.
Note
- If the structural layers have not been expanded visible and the
structure is selected to be edited with this function, the change
of thickness is targeted at the main layer of the structure, whose
running number is 0. Changes in structural layer thickness can be
detected if the structure has been expanded into layers.
