When changing variable thickness, either the bottom or top surface of the structural layers is locked into its location. The method of editing is selected from the contextual toolbar.
This function is used to select a variable thickness for a structural layer. The bottom surface of the structural layer and structural layers underneath are locked in place when the thickness is changed. The layers above the structural layer maintain their fixed thickness and are inclined according to the change in thickness.
The structural layer to be edited is selected, after which the variable thickness is defined using four points. The points are selected one by one and the thickness of the structure at the selected point is typed in a text box.
