Selecting Structural Layers
You can edit the entire structure or select the structural
layers to be edited. You can select the layers from a list or click
them in 3D model. The layers to be selected depend on the method of
representation of the horizontal structure:
- If the 3D representation of the structure is packed basic
volume, you can only select the basic layer of the structure,
which is the layer with the number 0.
- If you have selected the detailed representation with the
function Expanding Layers,
you can select any layer of the structure.
When you edit the edge line or edge points of a horizontal
structure, you can select one or many structures by using the
switch on the contextual toolbar.
Select the horizontal structure and structural layer in the
following way:
- Select a horizontal structure editing function, for example
Floors and Ceilings > Move Edge
Point.
- Enable or disable the contextual toolbar switch
One Area.
- Select the method of selecting structural layer from the
contextual toolbar.
- Depending on the selection mode, do one of the following:
- All layers - Select the horizontal
structures.
- Layer from list - Select the horizontal
structures.
- Layer by clicking - Select the structural
layers.
- If you did not use the switch One
area, select the Confirm function. If you used the
switch, the structure or structural layer you click becomes
selected at once.
- If you selected the mode Layer
from list, select the structural layers from the list.
- Continue according to the selected editing function.
