With this function, you can add a horizontal structure as a single plane. The plane can be either horizontal or inclined. In both cases, you can define the elevation of the plane according to either its top or bottom surface. When you are adding an inclined plane, first select the points defining the pitch of the plane. After this, you can define the plane's edge line either by clicking the line points one by one, or by selecting the walls limiting the plane. The status bar displays the height, thickness and material code for the plane to be added.
The plane height is the default height defined in the project parameters. You can change the height by clicking the button again.
Select Height with 3D Levels Dialog Box
In the model window you can define the height by selecting a point or a surface. You can first select wire frame as the method of representation of the model, in which case it is easier to select points of the model.
You can use this function to define the pitch of a single ceiling slope to match the pitch of a roof slope, for example.
If you click the points of the reference plane in the 3D model, you can first select wire frame as the method of representation of the model, which makes it easier to select the points of the model.
