Edit a Material in the Entire Building Model
All building model surfaces in the same material category can be
edited in one go. You can change a material to another or edit the
properties of a material. This information is stored in the model.
The material category's default rendering material will remain
unchanged.
- Activate the model window.
- Select Rendering > Mass Edit Rendering
Material.
- Select the surface. All faces in the same category are
selected. If the face does not have a category, all the faces that
have the same material are selected.
- If you have already edited the material of an individual face
belonging to the category in question in the same model, you will
be presented with the following question: Remove category connected
part-specific changes? Select either of the following:
- Yes - Previous changes will be discarded.
- No - Previous changes will be retained.
The Rendering Material dialog box opens. The dialog box field
Material category shows the material category of the face
you selected. The name of the rendering material is displayed in
the Material name field.
- Change or edit the material in the dialog box.
