Opening a Project
Open a project as follows:
- Do one of the following:
- Select File > Open Project from the menu bar.
- Select Open > Open
Project from the toolbar.
- Press Ctrl+O.
- Select the project to be opened in the dialog box.

- If necessary, select the version of the project you want to
open.
- Select the active drawing-model pair, if necessary.
The drawing file of the drawing-model pair is opened in the
drawing window and the model file in the model window. The
activate_target keyword in the BDSXX keyword group determines which
working window is activated by default. You can change the active
window during working in any of the following ways:
- Click the title bar of the window
- Press the F2 key.
- Select File > Switch Between 2D and 3D.
- Select the window from the Window menu.
Note
- If a project is already open, the program will automatically
close it. The project can be saved before it is closed, see
Closing a Project.
- When you have opened a project, you can restore a previously
saved version by using the function File > Open Project
Version.
- When you open a password protected project, you will be
prompted "Note! Saving the opened project requires a
password".
