Opening a Previously Saved Version
You can restore a previously saved version of an active project
as follows:
- Do either of the following:
- Select File > Open Project Version.
- Select the function in the project's document browser:
- Move the cursor over the project id.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
- Select Open Project Version.
The Select Version dialog box opens. The dialog box list displays
the latest versions saved by the user, plus the most recent
autosave versions, along with corresponding version numbers, dates
and times.
- Select the check box of the version you want . The
preview image shows the 2D drawing and 3D model of the current
version of the project.
- Confirm by clicking OK.
Note
- The number of versions displayed in the version list is defined
in the BDSXX keyword group under the keyword
max_building_versions.
- The drawing-model pair in the preview image of the dialog box
is the same as the one that was active when you selected the
function.
- You can set the number of autosaves, see Autosaving a Project.
- You can also select the version when opening a project.
- If the project is an option model, which is in the "Solved
Building" state, the program asks you to confirm the opening of an
older version, as restoring the option model may not necessarily
succeed after that.
- You can delete all the old versions and keep only the latest
saved version when closing a project.
