Editing Project Parameters

Project parameters contain information required in the design work such as wall heights, floor thicknesses, etc. Parameters are divided into different parameters such as General Parameters, 1st Floor Parameters, etc. The parameter sets depend on the project's template and vary between customers. You can edit the parameters as follows:

1. Do either of the following:
   • Select File > Project Parameters > Edit Project Parameters.
   • Select the function in the project's document browser:
     1. Move the cursor over the project id.
     2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
     3. Select Edit Project Parameters.
2. Edit the parameters in the Project Parameters dialog box.

3. Confirm by clicking OK.

• The program reads the parameters from the PARAMETERS file in the project folder. If you wish to add parameters to a project, open the PARAMETERS file for editing with a text editor. Add the name of the parameter and a value inside quotes in the file, for example:

  CORNER_TRIM_BOT   "0"
  EXTWALL_END_CAP "SINGLE"

• Many of the parameters defining the height positions of building components are calculated with a formula, which refers to the height levels of the building.
