Adding a Supporting Structure
You can add a supporting structure consisting of two columns to
a log wall. The columns are located on both sides of the wall. Add
the supporting structure in the floor plan or in the model. The
columns and the fastening bolts are also displayed in the log work
drawing. The column dimensions as well as the number and length of
the bolts are collected to the bill of materials, when you collect
the project's materials.
- Select
Macro Components > Add
Furniture, Symbol, Building Group.... The browser is
opened.
- Select the Log Wall folder in the browser.
- Double-click the supporting structure's thumbnail in the
browser.
- Select the wall.
- Edit the parameters of the supporting structure. Select
Parameters from the contextual toolbar. A
database view opens.

- Select auxiliary function for positioning, if necessary.
- Select a location for the supporting structure.
Note
- The supporting structure is added on the layer 212 in
the floor plan. The label of the supporting structure is added on
the layer 213.
- The object type of the supporting structure is
Macros.
- You can edit the parameters of an existing structure by
double-clicking it in the floor plan drawing, in the model or in
the log wall elevation.
