Clip a Log Wall
You can edit a log wall by selecting an area, logs outside of
which will be cut and removed. You can use the function in the
model or in the log wall elevation. It is, however, easiest to
select the points of the area to be cut in the elevation.
- Do either of the following:
- Select the function in the wall elevation
- Open the elevation of the log wall.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
- Select Clip Log Wall.
- Select the function in the model
- Activate the model window.
- Select a log wall.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
- Select Log Wall > Clip
Log Wall.
- Select the points of the area using the cursor, type the
coordinates of the points, or use the snap functions in the
context-sensitive menu. Lock the cursor, if necessary.
- Select Confirm. The program will add a line from the
point you last selected to the start point (in the example, from
point 4 to point 1) and the polyline is closed. The log sections
left outside the area are cut and removed.
