Cutting a Profile

You can cut one or more pieces in a panel drawing. When the piece is cut, it is divided into two parts, which can be considered as separate pieces.

Cutting a Single Profile

1. Select Wall Panels > Panel Elevations > Cut Profile.
2. Select a profile.
3. Select the cutting point.

Cutting Several Profiles at Once

1. Select Wall Panels > Panel Elevations > Cut Profile.
2. Select Multi-profile cut from the contextual toolbar.
3. Select several profiles by holding down the Ctrl key or by using area selection.
4. Select Confirm.
5. Select the first point of the cutting line.
6. Select the second point of the cutting line.

Note

• When you are cutting siding boards, you can define a cutting angle. See Cutting Angle of Siding Boards.
• You can combine the cut profiles again by merging them together.
