Adding and removing section view

This function can be used to add a section view of a framing to a 2D drawing. After adding the section view, you can remove it or another section view added previously by clicking the section view. You can select the section views to be removed before quitting the function or adding a new section view.

1. Select Floor Joists, Roof Rafters > Section Drawing.
2. Select the method of selecting the structural layer, and select the structure and if necessary, the structural layer (type FRAMING).

   The cursor will turn into a horizontal line from the left edge to the right edge of the drawing window.

3. If necessary, change the direction of the section by using the DIR function.

   

4. Select the section point. The cursor will be locked in the direction perpendicular to the direction of the section.
5. Select the location of the section view. The reference point of the section view is located in the center of the framing in the direction of thickness.
6. Select the section view to be removed, if necessary.
