Hide a Selected Object
You can reduce the visible geometry in the model window by
hiding the selected objects:
- Select one or more objects in the floor plan, model or object
tree.
- Do either of the following:
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu. Select
Hide.
- Press the H key.
You can hide the nearest layer from a wall or a horizontal
structure as follows:
- Move the cursor on the layer. Do not select the object.
- Press the H key.
Restore hidden objects to view. Do either of the following:
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu. Select
Restore Hidden.
- Press Shift+Ctrl+H.
Note
- The hiding feature is intended for temporarily hiding objects
during work when the project is open. If you want to hide objects
permanently, use other hiding functions, such as hiding
groups.
- You can also hide the objects as follows:
- Select the objects to be displayed in the model regardless of
the object type and hide the rest, see Hide Unselected Objects.
- Create a hiding group that may contain objects of any object
type, see Create a Hiding Group. You
can toggle the visibility of the group.
- Hide all the objects of a required object type, see Hide Objects by Type.
- Hide an object so that its geometry is visible only in the
drawing but not in the model, or vice versa. See 2D/3D Presentation.
