Add a Distance Constraint between the Edges of a Wall Volume

The example defines the distance of the wall volume's edge line from the window's edge line.

1. Activate the work plane.
2. Select Constraints > Distance.
3. Select the wall volume (A) and the edge line (B). Then, select the window (C) and the window's edge line (D).

   

4. Select the location of the dimension constraint (E).

   

   Enter a value for the dimension constraint in the dialog box.

Note

• To edit the dimension constraint value at a later time, activate the work plane by selecting Constraints > Activate Work Plane. The dimension constraints added earlier to the work plane will be displayed.
