Edit Section Definition Properties

You can edit the name, label and depth of a section definition as follows:

1. Select the symbol of the section definition in the floor plan.
2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu, and select Properties. The Cross Section Settings dialog box opens.
3. Edit the properties:
   • Name - Name shown in the project's document browser.
   • Label - Label shown in the floor plan.
   • Depth - All panels within the range section line–section depth are brought into the section from the generation model. With a cutting depth of 0, all elements that are in the cutting direction from the section line are included in the section.

4. Confirm by clicking OK.

Note

• If you have already formed a section view and added it to the drawing sheet, changing the section name will sever the connection to the drawing sheet.
