Add Drawing to Sheet

With this function a view drawing, for example, a section view, an elevation view or a floor plan is added on a drawing sheet. You can also add the reference drawings that are shown in the floor plan to the sheet. First, open the drawing sheet on which you wish to add a drawing. It is recommended to update the elevation, section and perspective views with the Updating Drawings function, before you add them to a sheet.

You can select the function either from the toolbar or in the project document browser.

  1. Open a drawing sheet.

  2. Do either of the following:
  3. The default reference point is the drawing origin. If necessary, select an auxiliary function, which you can use to change the reference point, to mirror a drawing or to change the drawing scale, for example.

  4. Select the location of the reference point of the drawing on the drawing sheet.
  5. Save the drawing sheet by selecting File > Save.
  6. Close the sheet.
