Update Text Macros

The text macro update function also updates the texts that have been associatively attached to the element.

When positioning a text macro, note that the updated text is positioned in relation to the position point.

1. Select Texts > Update Texts.

• Remove hidden lines in the drawing and update the text macros by pressing Shift+F5.
• You can enable the automatic update of text macros with the keyword text_macro_auto_fill in the DRAFT keyword group.

  text_macro_auto_fill= A B C

  A=0, B=0 and C=0 or C has not been defined: Text macros are updated by selecting the function Texts > Update Texts.

  A=1: Text macros are updated automatically when a drawing is opened by using the function File > Open > Open File.

  B=1: Text macros are updated automatically when a drawing sheet is opened from the project's document browser or by using the function Drawings > Update Drawing Sheets.

  C=1: Undefined text macros are not updated. The program automatically updates only text macros with a content.
