Adding a dimension

Select one of the dimension adding functions in the Dimensions menu. Select the projection plane, direction and scale of the dimension to be added in the dialog box. The selected function defines the dimension type: dimension between two points, angle dimension, dimensioning radius etc.

Scale

Scale affects the size of the dimension/text. When you add dimensions of different scale to the model, the sizes of dimension figures differ from each other. Define the scale as a value of 1:?.

• You can change the visibility of dimension in the model window in the following way:
  1. Select Settings > Show Texts from the menu bar.
  2. Select one of following:
     • All dimensions/texts - Make all dimensions visible
     • No dimensions/texts - Hide all dimensions
     • Free
• You can delete a dimension from a model in the following way:
  1. Select the dimension in the basic mode of the program.
  2. Press Delete.
