Printing a Drawing or a Model
This function can be used to print the drawing or the model in
the working window. The software will use Windows printers to print
the document. There may also be your own printers defined in the
settings file that the software can use.
The presentation method for a printed model in the working
window may be wire frame or shaded.
After selecting the function, you can define the print settings
using the functions in the dialog. Select the printer, if necessary
define the printer properties, select the area to be printed of the
drawing or model, which layers to print, and position the drawing
or model on the sheet.
- Do one of the following:
- Select File> Print.
- Select the Print function on the toolbar.
- Define printing in the dialog box.
- Select the printer.
- If necessary, click the Properties button to edit the
printer properties.
- Select the scale.
- Define the number of copies.
- Select one of the following as the area to be printed:
- Click All when you want to print the entire
drawing.
- Click Window when you want to print a certain area of
the drawing.
- Define the drawing elements to be printed by clicking the
Layers to print button.
- Place the drawing on the sheet by clicking the Place
drawing buttons.

- Confirm the selections.
Note
- You can also modify the printing by clicking the Printer
Settings button. The changes made will be temporary. The change
will be valid until the software is started again, at which point
the default printer properties will be read from the settings
file.
- Add drawings to the same sheet by clicking the Add drawing
to sheet button. In order to do this, you must select a sheet
that is large enough.

- The properties of a Windows printer can be modified by
selecting Start> Settings> Printers> Document
