Copy an Old Background or Foreground and Edit its Shading Properties

You can create a new background by copying an old background from the library. You can then paste the background to your own library in the Shared folder. In the basic software delivery, there is a designated subfolder for materials in the Shared folder. Once you have named the new background, it is displayed as a thumbnail in the library. You can then select the background from the library and edit its properties. You can create a new background in the same way.

  1. Do either of the following:
  2. Open the browser folder from which you want to copy the old background/foreground.
  3. Right-click the thumbnail of a background/foreground, and select Copy.
  4. Open the folder to which you will paste the background/foreground, for example: Or, if necessary, create a new folder.
    1. Select the backgrounds or foregrounds folder, or any folder under it.
    2. Right-click to open the function menu.
    3. Select New folder.
    4. Type the name of the folder
    5. Select the folder you have just created.
  5. Right-click to open the actions menu, and select Paste.
  6. Name the new background/foreground. Once you have named the background/foreground, its image and name are displayed in the browser.
  7. Right-click the thumbnail you named and select Edit.
  8. Edit the shading properties in a dialog box.

  9. Confirm by clicking OK.
