Save a Panoramic Image
You can save an interior view as a 360 degree panoramic image.
This save format is suitable for presenting a small space, such as
a bathroom, sauna or small kitchen. When creating a panoramic
image, the view must be perspective. The program takes six parallel
square-shaped pictures of the view and compiles them together. You
need an external viewing program to view a panoramic image.
Save a panoramic image as follows:
- Select the viewing point from inside the building, right in the
center of the room. Activate the drawing window and select View
> View 3D. Select the viewing location and direction.
- Select Rendering > Load
Studio, and load the DEFAULT studio into the model. You can
also use the HIRES studio, which provides better image quality but
lengthens the render time to approximately ten times that of the
DEFAULT studio.
- Select Rendering > Save Rendered View.
The Rendering dialog box is opened.
- Select Panorama 'Stripe' from the list as the image
type.
- Select the size of a single square-shaped image. Select, for
example, 1024 x 1024 or 2048 x 2048 (the panoramic image can be
zoomed but the rendering is very slow).
- If necessary, clear the Stop
before saving checkbox.
- Select Image file. The Save As dialog box is opened.
Select the file type jpg, and indicate a save location and name for
the file.
- Click Render. The program creates a jpg panoramic file
that you can view with an external viewing program.
Note
- The rendering is slow and may take from tens of minutes to
hours.
- The settings will remain valid until you change them by
selecting the Save Rendered View function again. The same
settings are used when you render a model with the Draft >
Render function.
