Adding a Command or an Application Development Program to the Custom Toolbar

You can define the name and bitmap image for the function to be added to the custom toolbar in the dialog box. The function can be, for example, a command that is part of a customer fitting and has not been included in the application's user interface, or an application development program.

Dialog Box Options

Description

Enter the tool tip of the function in the text field. The tool tip displays, when you move the cursor over the function in the button menu.

Command Name

Enter the name of the command in the text field or select an application development program by clicking the button. Only those application development programs defined in the menu.symbol keyword group are allowed.

Command Number

Enter the number of the command in the text field. If the command is an application development program, the number is 1.

Icon File

Select a bitmap image to be added to the button by clicking the button. The size of the bitmap image must be 16x16 pixels, and it must be saved in the BMP format.

• Vertex BD: You can add a command to the custom toolbar, which launches the addition of a certain symbol component or joint from a component library without having to choose it from the browser; see Launching Add Symbol Component from Common Toolbar.
