Editing Terrain Points
You can edit a terrain by adding new terrain points or moving or
deleting existing terrain points.
- Select Terrain > Edit
Points.
- Do one of the following:
- Add a new terrain point or elevation curve.
- Select Add points from the auxiliary menu.
The function is enabled as a default.
- Add a new terrain point or elevation curve in the same way as
when modeling the terrain, see Terrain
Modeling.
- Move a terrain point.
- Select Move points from the auxiliary
menu.
- Select the terrain point you wish to move in the model or the
drawing. You can select several terrain points by drawing an area
with the cursor.
- In the drawing: When you select a terrain point in the
drawing, the Z field in the contextual toolbar shows the height of
the point. You can enter a new height in the field. Accept the old
location of the terrain point with the Confirm function or
click a new location.
- In the model: When you select a terrain point in the
model, click a new location for the point, which also defines the
height of the point.
- Delete a terrain point.
- Select Delete points from the auxiliary
menu.
- Select the terrain point you wish to delete in the model or the
drawing. You can select several terrain points by drawing an area
with the cursor.
- Select Confirm. The terrain drawing and model are
updated.
