Designing a Railing with the Railing Tool
You can use the Railing Tool for designing railings from the
parts in the stair library. You can select different start and
middle balusters for railings. A railing is an assembly comprising
different parts.
- Do either of the following:
- Select
Building Components > Railings >
Railing Tool.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu, and select
Railing Tool.
- Do either of the following:
- When you want to add a railing, all of whose points are on the
base height of the drawing-model pair, select the points from the
drawing.
- When you want to add a railing with a varying point base
height, select the points from the model.
- Select the railing parameters in the Railing Tool dialog box.
