Saving a Document Under a New Name

You can save a 2D drawing or a 3D model with a new name with the File > Save File As function.

1. Do either of the following:
   • Select File > Save File As from the menu bar.
   • Press Ctrl+E.

   The Save As dialog box opens.

2. Name the file. Type a name in the File name field.
3. The default file type is Vertex document (*.vxp, *.vxm). If you select another file type, select the file conversion settings, if necessary.

4. Do one of the following:
   • Confirm the default save folder, which is the project folder.
   • Select another folder by using the general functions in the Windows dialog box.
   • Select the saving location from the Directory list, and click the Go button to open the selected folder.
5. Click Save.

• You can preview the drawings or models which are saved in the folder. Select a file and click the View button.
