Managing Building Projects

A separate project is created for each building. A project is an entity comprising several model and drawing files, databases and text files. All projects are saved in a project archive that is managed using a Vertex database. A separate project folder is created for each project, and all files of the project are saved in it. You can create, open and close projects using the functions in the File menu.

If you move, copy or delete project folders using the operating system's file management applications, the changes will not be automatically updated in the project archive. You can update the project archive in the Open Project dialog box.

You can manage the documents of various projects with the document archive. You can search for documents of a project in the project archive, or of any project stored on your disc. You can also browse the documents of an open project in the document browser.
