Add Drawings to a Print Queue by Layer Group

You can create a print queue by layer group. Do one of the following:

• Select File > Other Print Functions > Add Drawings to Print Batch by Layer Group from the menu bar.
• Select Print > Add Drawings to Print Batch by Layer Groups from the toolbar.

Define the layer groups whose objects are to be printed for the drawings added to the queue. The same drawing can have several layer group selections. For example, the layout, wiring plan, or heating, plumbing and air conditioning plan can be printed as separate drawings. This assumes that the plans have been drawn on different layers of the same drawing, and the corresponding layers grouped.

The layer group selections can be used to print different versions of the drawing. The printed versions will include the elements defined for the first, second, etc. version alongside the layer group selections.

Print Batch

Print the queue as follows:

1. Do one of the following:
   • Select File > Other Print Functions > Print Batch.
   • Select Print > Print Batch from the toolbar.
2. Select the queue for printing from a menu if there are several print queues.
