Add Drawings to a Print Queue

There can be a maximum of 256 (0-255) print queues. It should be noted that numerous, large print queues use a lot of memory.

  1. Do one of the following:
  2. Select the printer. When you want to print the queue to a PDF file, you can select either of the following printer:
  3. Define the layers from which the elements will be printed for the drawings in the print queue. All the drawings will be printed with the same layer selection. Select the layers to be printed using the Layers to print function in the dialog box.
  4. Type a name for the print queue. The queue will be saved in the ../user/spool folder.
  5. Select the drawings for the queue from the file list, project directory or drawing archive.

From file list

First, define a folder from which you select the files. After you have chosen the files, a list of the drawings selected will be displayed. Edit the contents of the list, if necessary. Delete drawings or change the output order in the Number field.

From project directory

Use search criteria to select the project whose drawings are to be output. Fill in the search criteria in the dialog box. For example, you can search the project archive for all projects of the same designer or the same customer. You can define one or more search terms. You can shorten a search term with an asterisk (*).

From drawing archive

Use the search screen to select the drawings. Edit the list of drawings, if necessary.
