New Project Label from the DesignStream System

When starting to design a new project using Vertex BD, retrieve a project label from the DesignStream system. This requires that the project label has already been created in the DesignStream system.

1. Select File > New > New Project. The New Project dialog box opens.
2. Click the Select button. The House Model/Project Search dialog box opens.
3. Select project Type:
   • Project - A customer project that has been confirmed.
   • Proposal - A customer project that has not yet been confirmed.
   • House model - A standard house model that can be used in customer projects.
   • Building group - A building group project that can be used in other projects.
4. Fill in the search criteria in one or more text fields. You can shorten a search term with an asterisk (*).
   • Customer
   • Description
   • Author
5. Confirm by clicking the OK button.

   The house models or projects in the DesignStream system matching the search criteria are displayed in a list.

6. Select a house model or project and click OK.
7. Define other data in the New Project dialog box.

8. Confirm by clicking OK.

• You can only transfer projects to the DesignStream system if they already have a label in the DesignStream system.
