Add a Notch

This function can be used to create a notch for the beam on a truss. The dimensions of the notch are defined according to the location and cross section dimensions of the selected beam.

1. Select one or more trusses.
2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
3. Select Add Notch.
4. Select the beam.
5. Select Confirm.

Note

• You can delete the notch with the function Delete a Hole or a Notch.
