Duplicate a Truss

You can use this function to add a single truss by copying an existing truss. You can place the copy next to the original truss, or center the trusses so that the center point of the group formed by the copy and the original truss is located at the same point as the center point of the original truss. Select the positioning method from the contextual toolbar.

1. Select the truss area by clicking one of the trusses in the area.
2. Select either of the following functions from the contextual toolbar:
   • Center trusses - You can use this function to place the copy of the truss and the original truss so that the center point of the group they form is located at the center point of the original truss location.
   • Copy side by side - You can use this function to place the copy next to the original truss.
3. Select the truss to be copied.
4. If you selected to place the copy next to the original truss, click the side on which you want to place the copy.
5. Select either of the following in the message box:
   • Yes - The shape and supports of the copy will be updated according to the truss area.
   • No - The shape and supports of the copy will not be updated.
