Add a Truss

You can use this function to add a single truss to the truss area or to generate trusses for the ends of a hip roof, see Generate Hip End Trussses. A single truss can be added by either adding with one point, two points or copying an existing truss.

1. Select Trusses > Add Truss.
2. Select the truss area by clicking one of the trusses in the area.
3. Select the truss parameters, if necessary. Click the Params button above the status bar. If you cannot see the button, stretch the bottom edge of the Vertex window downwards.

4. Select an adding method from the contextual toolbar.
   • By One Point
   • By Two Points
   • Duplicate
5. Select the location of the single truss.
