Select a Framing Tool in the Horizontal Structure Library

As the system administrator, you can select a framing tool in the floor and ceiling library as follows:

1. Select System Settings > Building Component Libraries > Horizontal Structures. The Library of Slabs, Floors, Ceilings, Roofs database view opens.
2. Select the horizontal structure you want to edit. Use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the desired row (Arrow up or Arrow down).
3. Click the Framing button. The Structure of Layered Area database view opens.
4. Use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the desired row (Arrow up or Arrow down). The type of the layer must be COVER.
5. Select a framing tool by clicking the FrmTools button. The Framing Tools dialog box is opened.

6. Move the cursor on the empty list.
7. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
8. Select New
9. Select Cladding.
10. Select a framing tool library and a framing tool. You can change the tool during designing and edit its parameters.
11. Confirm by clicking OK. You will return to the Structure of Layered Area database view.
12. Confirm by clicking OK. You will return to the Library of Slabs, Floors, Ceilings, Roofs database view.
13. Confirm by clicking OK.

• System Settings is only available on the toolbar if you are a system administrator.
