Select a Framing Tool for a Structure to be Added

You can select a framing tool for the horizontal structure to be added as follows:

1. Select Floors and Ceilings > Add Floor or Ceiling.

2. Select Edit Material from the contextual toolbar. The Structure of Layered Area database view opens.
3. Use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the desired row (Arrow up or Arrow down). The type of the layer must be COVER.
4. Select a framing tool by clicking the FrmTools button. The Framing Tools dialog box is opened.
5. Add a new framing tool for the layer, or change the selected tool. Select Cladding as the type of the framing tool.

   You can edit the tool parameters after adding the structure.

6. Confirm by clicking OK. You will return to the Structure of Layered Area database view.
7. Confirm by clicking OK.
8. Continue adding the layered area.
