Selecting the Available Libraries

You can select which libraries are available or edit the description text of a library as follows:

1. Select System Settings > Building Component Libraries > Component Libraries. The Component Libraries database view opens.
2. Select a component library. Move the cursor to a row in the library. Use the Up and Down arrow keys.
3. Click the Settings button. The Component Library dialog box opens.
4. Do one of the following:
   • If you wish to disable the library, clear the Active checkbox. After this, users can no longer add components from this library to a building model.
   • If you wish to enable the library, select the Active checkbox.
   • If necessary, edit the library description text in the Description field.
   • You can define the order of libraries in the dialog box's library list by using the value in the Priority field.
5. Confirm by clicking OK.
6. Close the Component Libraries database view by clicking the OK button.

Note

• You can check the available component libraries from the Active column in the Component Libraries database view:

  • 0 - The component library is not available.
  • 1 - The component library is available.
• System Settings is only available on the toolbar if you are a system administrator.
