Rotating a Part in Relation to a Surface
You can use these functions to rotate a part in the model window
in relation to the selected surface before selecting a position for
it. Rotate the part as follows:
- If necessary, first select part mirroring by selecting the
following checkbox:
The mirroring is done in relation to the selected
surface.
- Do either of the following:
- Rotate the Z axis of the part parallel to the normal of the
selected surface by clicking the following button:
- Rotate the X axis of the part parallel to the normal of the
selected surface by clicking the following button:
- Select a surface.
